President & General Counsel
Adam is a licensed practicing attorney with 18 years of experience primarily representing dealerships, trucking companies, and auto auctions. His experience is that most regulatory fines and lawsuits are avoidable, but it takes proactive steps, the guidance of knowledgeable experts, and great systems to effectively mitigate these risks. Adam has also experienced first-hand that a company’s compliance efforts can be leveraged for siginficant savings on the insurance and workers’ compensation fronts, and potentially used to win other business. Prior to joining ComplyNet, Adam served as general counsel to a record and data management company that provides information safeguarding and custom workflow solutions to the automotive industry. Adam has spoken on the local, state, and national levels, including presentations to the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA), the National Independent Auto Dealers Association (NIADA), and the National Association of Dealer Counsel (NADC). Adam double majored in Economics and Religion at Denison University, and was elected into the honorary Order of the Curia for outstanding academics, character, and achievements at Capital University Law School. In 1994, Phil founded ComplyNet as a management consulting company to assist motor vehicle dealerships in complying with the ever-increasing regulations relating to environmental, health, and safety. Phil’s vision was to help dealerships create a culture of compliance in those areas, and his vision ballooned into a national company that additionally provides compliance services for sales, finance, human resources, and information security. Over his 30 years of providing compliance solutions, Phil has visited more than 500 dealerships and seen every imaginable scenario. Phil continues to serve as an author and advisor to ComplyNet. Director of Sales & Success
EJ worked at various dealerships before joining ComplyNet 15 years ago. He currently serves as the Director of Sales & Success, and is responsible for linking customers to the appropriate services and ensuring that customers’ expectations are being exceeded, beginning with the deployment. He is also responsible for updating clients on new and existing initiatives that may assist in creating and maintaining a culture of compliance. Director of Operations
After earning his Bachelor in Science in International Business from Saint Louis University, Stephen joined the family business. Over time, Stephen has grown into his current role as ComplyNet’s Director of Operations where he maintains and oversees the various technology and communication initiatives, internally and externally. Alexis is the owner of Columbus Fair Auto Auction, and a board member of ComplyNet. Jacobs was steeped in the auto auction business at the early age of 12 along side her father, William Jacobs, who founded the auction in 1959. Upon his untimely death in 1982, she took on oversight of day-to-day operations of CFAA, which has since grown into an 85-acre, 11-lane auto auction facility with a nearby body shop that moves nearly 2,000 units on its Wednesday sale days – nearly 200,000 vehicles annually. Alexis’ storied career is reflective of the unprecedented achievements that she has personally earned. Most notable among her honors, Alexis has been inducted into the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association’s Ring of Honor, inducted into the National Auto Auction Association’s Hall of Fame, received the NAAA Pioneer Award, and received the Automotive Achievement Award from the Columbus Automobile Dealers Association.
Greg has served as a board member of ComplyNet for 23 years. He is experienced in franchise automobile sales, consulting, and management, as well as independent auto dealer and auction software. Mr. Levi served as president and chief operating officer for one of the nation’s largest independent auto auctions, and was previously executive vice president of Finance Express. Greg entered into the automobile business with a large dealership in downtown Chicago, Hanley Dawson Cadillac. After rising to Cadillac Master Manager, Mr. Levi was involved in all training with Universal Underwriters, now Zurich. At Universal, he was a regional administrator consistently achieving president’s club, an honor for goal achievement. Greg is a graduate of Purdue University and is a long-time (no-longer-suffering) Chicago Cubs fan. He is married and the father of triplets.
